Question: Is there a soft opening or guest preview for the new Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
Answer: No, there is no soft opening or guest preview. This is a very common question by guests in the park these days, but the answer is, unfortunately, there is not. The official opening date is June 30, 2018 (Saturday) and you can see the official countdown clock on the Disney World website. The good news is guests only have to wait a couple of days and the new Toy Story land will be open!
If you’re in the park and looking for the entrance to the new Toy Story Land, it’s located in the southwest corner, right by the entrance to Pixar Place. In my picture above, you can see the blue wooden fence that is up blocking the entrance. Check out this map for the location.
