Here’s an interview I did with Keith “Old Skool” McGuire at CrossFit Firebase. Keith qualified for the 2011 CrossFit Games by placing 16th in the Open in the 50-55 masters category. Check out his stats on the Games site. I’ve worked out with Keith many times and I can tell you he’s a badass athlete and a terrific competitor…I’m continually amazed at his athleticism at age 52, which proves to me that getting older old is mostly a mental game. I believe there’s no reason to give away strength, health, or fitness simply because we advance in age. Keith is a great example for all the athletes at our gym.
